4/26/09 NJ/NY S2kCA Season Opening Drive

What a great, if long, day! 11 hours from the time I left home this morning until I got back! Just over 200 miles of group drive, another nice job by Aleksey, the drive master! Tadashi turned over 40,000 miles just before we got home tonight.

We saw 3 other S2000s, one even drove along with us for a short time but we turned and they kept going :( Saw another one driving thru Tuxedo NY who waved and another one parked, PLUS we drove by an NSX parked on the side of the road in some little Podunk town!

It was HOT today! Tadashi's thermometer hit 92 for a high but no complaints yet. It was cold for way too long :-D

We had license plates from 5 different states although my VT plates don't really count since I live in NY now... but we also had NJ, NY, PA, and DE. Our drive route included 3 states as well - NJ, NY, and PA.
